We never expected such question..

I know it’s risky to spot the final exam question but we never knew that ’she’ would be that crazy.. The first question was okay.. Just like our normal days of doing our analysis assignments.

But the second question was totally out of our consideration!!! We were asked to compose a poem (20 marks! that sure hella too much for us!) including its analysis which displays any aspect of linguistics style!

This was the final product of my poem dedicated ’specially’ for ‘her’..

Semantics

Foregrounding is your style
by deviating from the normal pragmatics.

Syntactically, everything seems clear in the first place
However,
I lost in the ambiguity of your structure.

Your grammar seems to be perfect
where even morpheme and allomorph
are seriously taken into consideration.

With the monotonous phonological sense
Is it an insult? a compliment?
or are you trying to be comical?

Just,
actually,
…what are you trying to tell me?
